Neither Good or Bad, Sometimes Things Just Need To Come To An End
After much reflection and consideration, I have decided to allow my almost 4 year relationship with Expedia Cruiseshipcenters to come to an end.
Although I have actually been contemplating this happening for about a year now, my final decision was prompted after the recent major changes made to their US Mobile Travel Agents program. Our disassociation became effective today, May 31, 2014.
What this means is that I will no longer be marketing, advertising or booking travel under the Expedia Cruiseshipcenters brand name. The auto newsletters sent out to everyone on my email list with them will also cease.
I have secured close relationships with a few A+ Travel Partners (Tour Operators, Hotels, Cruise lines, Booking Agencies, etc.) where I am devoting the majority of my marketing and booking loyalties to.
In my continued effort to mold and create a very tight "niche" Boutique style Travel Planning service that specializes in a particular Travel market, more changes are sure to come in the very near future.

Destination Romance! Generations Resorts by Karisma!
Destinaton Weddings and Romance Travel has become huge in popularity over the last few years and Karisma Hotels and Spa Resorts offers many options for just about every preference in any one of their 12 properties, (11 in Mexico, 1 in Jamaica)!
I just returned from Mexico a few days ago after spending a week there to attend the 1st Annual Romance Travel Forum held in Cancun, May 12-14 and then on to Karisma Weddings' Training program for Travel Professionals in Riviera Maya, May 14-18, 2014. From the moment I arrived at the Welcoming Check-in Lounge of the brand new Generations Riviera Maya Resort, Karisma Hotels newest property and the Host Resort for my training, I was completely blown away! I was given the pleasure of enjoying a One-Bedroom Oceanfront Swim-up Suite on level 1 which provides the opportunity of a very short swim (or in my case, a short walk) across the pool to a Swim-up Bar! Although I have previously promoted vacationing in Swim-up Suites, this was my 1st time actually staying in one and I couldn't be happier!
Generations Riviera Maya, a 144-suite beachfront resort is perfect for couples, wedding parties and families to experience Karisma's Gourmet Inclusive concept. The views of the beautiful "blueish-green" Mexican Caribbean Sea from any beachfront room is indeed breathtaking.
I also had the opportunity to take a site inspection visit to Karisma's 1st Generations Resort which is situated on one of the Travel Channel's best beaches in the world, Maroma Beach.
Generations Maroma offers the same Gourmet Inclusive experience but on a smaller, intimate or "boutique" style scale with only 30 luxury suites to choose from. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom family suites are also available here which again, makes this a perfect setting for Wedding Parties or family gatherings.
Generations Maroma is adjacent to Karisma's El Dorado Maroma which offers additional amenities for Adults only.

Cruise From Norfolk, VA On Carnival Splendor In 2015
Carnival Cruise Lines recently announced a short series of new itineraries to head out from The Port of Norfolk, Virginia beginning in May 2015 on the Carnival Splendor cruise ship.
These unique series of sailings departing from the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center Port in Norfolk on the Splendor will kick off with the 1st of three 5-Day sailings to the Bahamas on May 11, 2015. Subsequent dates for this same itinerary will follow on May, 18 and October 12, 2015.
Also being offered in May will be a 2-Day Cruise to "Nowhere" on May 16, 2015.
Cruisers who are looking for a little more than just the traditional Nassau and Freeport port of calls in the Bahamas will have the opportunity to enjoy a 6-Day sailing on October 17, 2015 which will include a stop at the private Bahama Island of Half Moon Cay in addition to Nassau and Freeport.
Finally, a 7-Day option has also been included sailing to Bermuda on October 23, 2015. This itinerary features a 3 day port stop in King'S Wharf which allows for ample time to explore this beautiful island.
